A Little Bit About Me
Sri Lankan Malay.

I try to live with simplicity- gratitude- and a caring heart. I enjoy travelling - learning new things- cooking - I try my best to cook food tasty 🙄- and I like spending time with family. I am a very shy person but open with people who I'm close with.

I have a younger sister, she's married Alhamdulillah.

More about me, I learnt to read Arabic 3 years ago, I haven't completed Quran yet, I built a habit of reciting Surah Al-Kahf on every Fridays and it dropped after I moved to City for work. I'm trying to build that beautiful habit of mine again. I recite 10 surahs per day from this wonderful Quranly app. I invited all my friends and family members to challenge with me, but none joined 🙄. I'm still not fluent in reciting. I stutter most of the time. But Alhamdulillah I have memorised a few short Surahs. I want to build a life where I can spend most of my time with Allah and Quran. And the only way I see that life of mine is after marriage. My only destination is Jannah.

I love drawing, writing poems, play badminton, watching TV shows like WWE. And now all of that has become a hobby that I rarely do.
And I love travelling so so much. I still have not travel anywhere in my own country except for the concrete jungle. I love nature and animals so much. I had a goat as a pet and few abandoned baby squirrels. I adopted them and freed them back to their own habitats. It's the best feeling ever.

I am a pro Palestine 🇵🇸. I am looking for someone who can say " Free Palestine " without fear, with bravery and confidence. I use my social media platform ( mostly Instagram) to spread the awareness of what's going on to our beloved brothers and sisters in Palestine. It's so devastating to watch the massacre and the ongoing genocid*.

And yeah that's me.

Final note: I am a practicing Muslim woman who values kindness- honesty- and family. I believe marriage is a journey built on trust- respect- and love for the sake of Allah -SWT-.
I am looking for a husband who is compatible with me, is kind-hearted- values deen- and sees character above appearance. Someone who strives to please Allah- has good manners- and will be a loving partner in both this life and the hereafter.

What I Am Looking For
I don't mind if he is from another country or a nationality, I am looking for someone who I can communicate smoothly with. But if you are from another country please note that this is serious, I do not want to waste my time and energy by just chit chatting.

I'm open to move anywhere in the world. I love all the countries ( except 🇮🇱 🙄) and nationalities. This is a marriage, if you are willing to marry me, you should take me with you.

The only reason I'm putting my self in a public matrimony app like this is that I always dreamt of having a partner than my own nationality/ethnicity. I'm a mixed person ( my great grandparents were Javanese and Indian ) and somehow I ended up with a much darker skin than my own kind, I have been colour shamed from my own relatives and it's been so hard growing up.

I believe that Allah SWT has kept my life partner somewhere far from me and is waiting for me. And everyone in this world is created by our one true God Allah SWT, no one is different. Our beloved prophet Muhammad (Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam) treated everyone equally and I want to be like him ( pbuh ). I don't care about the color, nationality, status or whatever.

To be honest I'm scared, because this is a big step of my life. And it's a challenge for me, but I hope it won't be any harder with my future partner.

Sri Lankan Muslim men are also welcomed.

NOTE : My parents do not know that I have opened an account like this and in a hunt of finding my future partner, but if we somehow end up matching each other, you'll definitely have to talk to my father to get his approval.
